In addition to the growing shortage of skilled workers, the severely limited possibility of staff exchange also significantly impairs the efficiency of railway companies’ operations. Our organisation has therefore set itself the goal of developing and offering specialist language training in order to enable cooperation with foreign-language staff.
Especially in the transport sector, language barriers represent a particular challenge for operational communication. The Rail Academy Group supports railway personnel at home and abroad in overcoming both linguistic and technical hurdles. In this way, we make an essential contribution to increasing operational safety, which depends to a great extent on clear and precise communication.
Since the railway sector does not yet have a uniform technical language, and communication usually takes place in the national language concerned, proficiency in that language is a prerequisite for cross-border staff deployment. Our tailor-made training programmes address this very need and provide the basis for safe and efficient communication in safety-critical areas.
